Pain and numbness-free dental anaesthesia with QuickSleeper5

Comfortable dental treatment starts with painless anaesthesia. For many people, it’s not the dental treatment itself that is the most frightening, but the anaesthetic injection. The sight of the needle, the pain of the puncture and the long-lasting numbness of the tissues that follows cause many people to postpone or avoid much-needed dental treatment. But finally, even injecting medication before treatment can be completely painless! This is what the clinic’s new QuickSleeper5 machine makes possible. From now on, there is no need to fear a single second spent in the dentist’s office.

What is the working principle of this device?

With QuickSleeper5, anaesthesia is very gentle and lasts slightly longer. The anaesthetic is injected directly into the spongiosa bone. This bone is not innervated, so the patient does not feel any pain during the puncture. The anaesthesia is immediately effective and no further anaesthesia of the tongue or palate is needed.

What are the advantages of this method?

“QuickSleeper5” is ideal for people who are sensitive or have a fear of dentistry, as it eliminates unpleasant sensations such as stinging pain and numbness. While painless dentistry has long been a part of dentistry, the process of anaesthesia and needle pricking has been a fearful experience until recently. In addition, conventional anaesthesia is often accompanied by unpleasant side effects, such as numbness in the lips and part of the face for a long time after the procedure.

Neutering with “QuickSleeper5” has several key advantages:

  • The dental anaesthesia injection is administered WITHOUT ANY FEELING;
  • The anaesthesia is INSTANT, so you don’t have to wait long;
  • During the procedure, only the treated tissues are removed, while the surrounding soft tissues such as the jaw, tongue and chin are very lightly numbed;
  • After the procedure, the feeling of calming down is prolonged very QUICKLY;
  • After treatment, you can START EATING SOON;
  • REDUCES RISK OF INJURY on the inside of the jaws, lips.

What procedures are preceded by such anaesthesia?

Dental anaesthesia with “QuickSleeper5” is performed before various dental procedures (e.g. fillings, root canal treatment), teeth straightening, pulpitis treatment. It may not be used in all cases during implant placement and extraction of mental teeth.

Can this method of anaesthesia also be used for children?

Yes. This anaesthetic is given before both children’s and adults’ dental treatment.

How many teeth can be anaesthetised this way?

Up to eight teeth can be anaesthetised with this appliance, depending on your needs and personal treatment plan. Before the procedure, the dentist will calculate exactly how much pain relief to administer based on the number of teeth to be treated, the length of time planned for the procedure, and the volume of bone to be treated.

How long does anaesthesia last?

After a single injection with QuickSleeper5, anaesthesia lasts between 45 and 60 minutes.
