There is no longer a waiting list for prosthetics. This means that your dentist will check your eligibility for reimbursement, fill in all the necessary paperwork, enter your information into the system and issue you with a document that will allow you to start your prosthetic work at the “Dantų meistrai” dental clinic immediately.
You no longer have to keep a record of the document you have received from your dentist and you don’t have to wait for any letter from the health insurance fund.
You will only be able to receive reimbursed dentures in a medical institution with a contract with the National Health Insurance Fund. Patients will no longer be able to receive dentures at any dental institution where they used to pay the costs out of their own pocket and then apply to the TLK for reimbursement.
Once the person’s eligibility and the justification for reimbursement have been established, the referring healthcare institution will only need to enter the data into the Electronic Health Services and Co-operative Infrastructure Information System (EHRIS) and register the person in the Dental Prosthetics Subsystem of the Queues and Stocks Management Information System (EVIS DP). The person will be immediately informed of his/her entitlement to reimbursed prosthetic dental services.
To publish free of charge on the premises of the institution (in places visible to patients – reception, reception room, etc.) and on the institution’s website a detailed list of state-guaranteed (free of charge) personal healthcare services provided under the Agreement, the procedure and conditions for the provision of these services (it is necessary to inform that these services are paid for by the PSDF and are provided at no additional charge) and the information provided by the National Health Insurance Fund.
